It's About Time!!

My friends Jess and Paul finally got engaged last night. Here's the scoop: I met Paul freshmen year of college because he was dating my high school friend, Michelle. Jess and I met at the end of freshmen year thru mutual friends at a party. She was wasted playing Drinking Jenga and so I kept calling her Jen. Even the next school year because I couldn't remember her real name. Anyway, we got to be friends. Then Paul and I lived in the same house my sophomore year and he and Michelle broke up. That spring 1998, we had a huge party on our porch and in our front yard (that was an awesome college house). I introduced Jess and Paul to each other. They commiserated (sp) their relationship that evening. They went on their first real date a few days later. Now they're engaged!! And it's about time b/c Jess has only been asking for a ring for 4 of the last 6 years (almost 7). I hope she doesn't want pink bridesmaid dresses...pink is just not my color.
